Karuna Kristjanson LCSW, MAC

Originally from Mizoram, India, Karuna Kristjanson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a certified Master Addiction Counselor with a strong clinical background in mental health and substance abuse. Karuna has been practicing yoga and meditation for over 30 years and she is certified as a Yoga Therapist and a Masters of Wisdom and Meditation Teacher through Davidji Meditation Academy.

Her holistic approach to therapy and healing integrates extensive western clinical training with eastern spiritual practices and energy bodywork. Karuna is a Reiki Master and certified in both Reflexology and Thai Yoga Bodywork.

The late Ma Jaya Sati Bhagavati of Kashi Florida, a devotee of Neem Karoli Baba, named her “Karuna” in 2001 which means “Compassion” and action to alleviate the suffering of others. As she has been spiritually ripening , Karuna tries to embody her name and Red Lotus is dedicated to serving humanity with love, compassion, and a wide open heart.
