Individual Psychotherapy provides a safe, compassionate, and confidential space to explore life’s challenges, deepen self-awareness, and support personal growth and healing.

With over 30 years of experiences as a licensed clinical social worker as well as a certified master addiction counselor, Karuna works with adults navigating addiction and recovery, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, relationship challenges, life transitions, and spiritual concerns. Drawing from both traditional psychotherapy and holistic approaches, sessions are tailored to the unique needs and goals of each individual.

Karuna’s approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed, integrating mindfulness, somatic awareness, movement, evidenced-based therapeutic practices to support lasting change and emotional well-being.

Join us for an evening of connection, reflection, and inner peace in a welcoming and supportive community.

Each gathering includes gentle breathwork, a guided meditation, and an opportunity for heartfelt sharing in a safe and compassionate space. Together, we slow down, quiet the mind, and reconnect with ourselves and one another.

Whether you are new to meditation or have an established practice, you are welcome. There is no need to have any special experience – only a willingness to show up as you are.

Our intention is to cultivate presence, self-awareness, healing, and authentic connection through the practice of breathwork, meditation, and mindful sharing.

Karuna’s journey with yoga began in 1986 when she was introduced to Kundalini Yoga and has maintained a lifelong commitment to yoga, meditation, recovery, and personal growth. Over the decades, her path has included extensive study of yoga, mindfulness, meditatiom, psychotherapy, and holistic healing practices, all of which inform her work today.

The word yoga comes from the Sanskrit word meaning “union” or “to unite.” Yoga is more than physical exercise; it is a holistic practice that brings together body, mind, heart, and spirit. Combined with meditation, yoga offers a pathway to greater balance, self-awareness, and inner peace.

Drawing from years of study and teaching, Karuna provides personalized instructiomn that meets each individual whre they are. Lessons may include gentle yoga postures, breathwork, meditation techniques, relaxation practices, mindfulness skills designed to support physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

Whether you are new to yoga and meditation or seeking to deepen an existing practice, lessions are tailored to your unique needs, goals, and experience level. Emphasis is placed on self-awareness, nervous system regulation, stress reduction, and developing practical tools that can be integrated into daily life.

Healing Sessions are individualized experienced designed to support relaxation, nervous system regulation, emotional well-being, self-discovery, and overall healing.

Drawing from over 30 years of experience as a psychotherapist, yoga and meditation teacher, and a Reiki Master, Karuna integrates a variety of holistic approaches to meet the unique needs of each individual. Session may include Reiki energy healing, guided meditation, breathwork, mindfulness practices, spiritual exploration, and supportive conversation.
